Crew
Life
(To
the tune of 'Park Life' by Blur)
Confidence is a preference
of the habitual voyeur of what is known as,
STAGE CREW
A morning lecture can
be avoided if you take all night to do a,
BAND RIG
During gigs the punters
get intimidated by the sub-bass, they just love a
bit of it
Who's that fat bloke
mixing, you should cut down on your pizza and beer
mate, get some exercise
All the people, so
many people, they all go hand in hand, hand in hand
through their,
CREW LIFE
I get up when I want,
except on gig days when I get rudely awakened by the,
SOUND CHECK
I put out my molefays,
have a can of beer, and think about changing the
patch,
LIGHT RIG
I feed the wedges,
I sometimes feed front of house too. It gives me a sense
of enormous deafness.
SOUND RIG
Then I'm happy for
the rest of the gig, safe in the knowledge there will
always be 1K in it.
All the pinspots, so
many pinspots, they all go line in line, patch in patch
through their,
ARC LINE
It's got nothing to
do with your vorsprung Klark technic you know,
DRIVE RACK
And it's not about
our hellies who go round and round and round,
ALL NIGHT.
(Written, I believe,
by Chris, Charlie (remember him?), Polly, Dan and most of the
rest of the first year crew at the time.)
