Updating Anti-Virus Software

I don't wish to alarm you but new viruses are being created all the time, so it is important to keep you anti-virus software up to date.
The following instructions are for (An old version of) Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus software but the method should be similar for most Anti-Virus software.

1. Start your anti-virus software

2. Click on the "Live Update" button

3. You will be asked how you wish to update, select "Internet"
The computer will now attempt to connect to the Internet

4. If neccecary, Click "OK"
After connecting to the Internet the computer will locate the update and download it

5. When the download has completed the anti virus software will update until..

6. Close the Anti-Virus window
